Have you ever scrolled through your Spotify and realized how much the music industry has turned? Ever stop to think about the younger generation? What about those who want to rock? In a generation where fancy algorithms and producer choices take over your screens, it's become harder than ever to rock your way through the charts.
Pop Mach!ne is a rock band composed of five young members looking to do just that. This dynamic group of artists bridges the age gap in music lovers by spreading classic rock to the younger generation.
The members are Cassandra Walli (lead guitar), Chris Walli (bass guitar), Candice Duval (rhythm guitar and vocals), Emily Duval (keys and lead vocals), and Keegan Beaulieu (drums).
What stands out most about Pop Mach!ne is its diverse group of musicians. Although they may all come from different backgrounds they are able to put their thoughts aside and take on any challenge that is thrown their way.
Through this they’ve found success in many areas, including first place at Rockin’ the Rock Battle of the Bands on Manitoulin Island, second place at the Valley East Days Clash of the Bands 2019, and first place at the Meltdown Competition for the Northern Lights Festival Boreal. They plan to continue to pursue their goals in order to bring rock back to this younger generation.
